ESPN's Buster Olney reports that the Nationals have "reached out" to the Giants to gauge their interest in making a trade for veteran catcher Ivan Rodriguez.

The Giants need a catcher pretty badly, you can't defend a title without one. Not sure if Pudge is the answer, but he could at least help out some of the young guys on the Giants roster. 

I've never seen this picture before, but I bet the fans in San Fran are thrilled to have some of this action!
